Jewish Perspectives on Death and Mourning
Rabbi Vered Harris, Temple B’nai Israel
Rabbi Abby Jacobson, Emanuel Synagogue
Discussions around death are difficult, especially when we are not familiar with Jewish rituals surrounding death and mourning; do not know what our loved ones would have wanted for their funeral; or we have not prepared and shared our dying wishes with our loved ones. Join Rabbi Vered Harris and Rabbi Abby Jacobson for this special Jewish community session focused on learning about Jewish rituals regarding death and mourning as well as ways we can each choose to make important decisions about our final decisions and the legacy we want to leave our loved ones.
This program is co-sponsored by Emanuel Synagogue, Jewish Federation and Temple B’nai Israel. The program is free to attend, but pre-registration is required via this Zoom link.
