Members of the Jewish community are invited to join us for an important and engaging discussion about Jews of Color with Anjelica N. Ruiz and Evan Traylor, two young Jewish professionals actively engaged in pursuing social justice for all as well as helping Jewish organizations become welcoming to Jews of Color.

Anjelica is an alum of the Union for Reform Judaism’s JewV’Nation Fellowship in the 2018 Jews of Color cohort and recently completed Bend The Arc’s Selah Fellowship as part of Cohort 16. She is an alumna of the Anti-Defamation League’s Glass Leadership Institute and currently sits on the ADL’s Texoma Regional Board.

Evan is a first-year rabbinical student at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Prior to rabbinical school, Evan worked at the Union for Reform Judaism for four years creating new projects and initiatives in college and young adult engagement. He currently lives in Washington D.C. and serves on the leadership teams for Jewish Social Justice Roundtable and Jews United for Justice.
