With a vibrant and active community of over 2300, we offer innovative programs to enhance Jewish life, to connect our Jewish community to Israel, and to preserve the values and tenets of Judaism for future generations. Greater Oklahoma City. with a population just over one million, offers all the rich diversity of cultural, social, business and recreational opportunities of a major metropolitan area without all of the traffic, hassles, and costs.
The majority of Jews live in the Northwest quadrant of OKC, in Edmond (just north of the city)and in Norman. Oklahoma City has grown by leaps and bounds as a destination location for new business, technology, and medical research. With the completion of the Bricktown Ballpark, canal system, Ford Center, Cox Convention Center, Civic Center, downtown Library, and the beautiful Oklahoma City Art Museum, as well as the addition of a fabulous variety of restaurants, hotels, and clubs, downtown OKC is a drawing card for residents and visitors alike. Further northwest, business and nightlife is booming along Lake Hefner and to the south, The University of Oklahoma in Norman continues to attract national attention.
