Older Elementary School Age

For Camp Chaverim Tzofim campers entering 4th - 6th grades, we provide a choice of two Specialty Camps each Session, in combination with their choice of afternoon chugim (hobbies) and Free Swim.

Session 1 - June 7 to 25

Horseback Riding -- Riding and horsemanship skills from head to hooves. Working with horses teach campers to be kind, gentle, and respectful. (Max 12 campers)

OR

Tennis/Golf Combo -- Get in the swing with the pros and hit the greens with golf gurus from Lake Hefner Golf Club.

Session 2 - June 28 to July 16

Studio Art & Explorations -- Award winning artist Miss Joan of Art opens her studio for hands-on artistic instruction. New in 2010: "See and Sketch" field trips to OKC Zoo and Art Museum. (Max 10 campers)

OR

Ball Mania -- Let's play ball!! Practice dribbling, passing, and shooting ball skills. Plus all-sport ball games weekly.

Session 3 - July 19 to August 6

NOTE: This session also includes a cookout and overnight for campers in both speciality camps.

Sailing & Kayaking Combo -- Learn the ropes, be part of a crew, and enjoy smoothing sailing and kayaking on Lake Hefner.  (Max. 12 campers)

OR

Scouting/Outdoor Adventures -- Explore the wild, WILD world of Oklahoma's wildlife through scouting, hiking and camping activities.
